Privacy Statement
The Center for Musical Arts (CMA) prioritizes the protection of your personal information. We collect only what is necessary and will neither share nor sell your information unless legally required.
Tuition, Payment and Scheduling
Auto pay authorization
A valid credit card on file is required for auto billing to secure your lesson time and prevent late fees. Authorizing CMA to charge your card ensures the continuation of your monthly membership(s).
Membership dues are due on the 1st of every month, securing your lesson slot and ensuring instructor availability year-round. Credit card charges cannot be changed, and payments can be made manually through your Acuity account.
A late fee of $20 applies if payment is not received by the 5th of every month, with overdue invoices subject to collection after 90 days.
Membership fees are subject to adjustment; however, you will maintain your original rate as long as your membership remains active.
Paused or returning memberships will restart at current rates.
Lesson Cancellation & Make-Ups
48 hour notice
Students must give at least 48 hours’ notice before the scheduled lesson. Without proper notice, the opportunity for a make-up lesson or refund is forfeited. Make-up lessons can be scheduled within 3 weeks, based on availability.
Make-up Lessons
CMA will work to schedule any make-up lessons within 3 weeks of the original lesson date, health and schedule of teacher and student permitting.
Substitute
If a Teacher canceled lessons, CMA will (A) Contact Parents to notify them of the situation, (B) provide a substitute teacher OR ( C) start the process of rescheduling for a Make-Up Lesson.
Make-Up Lesson will not be provided if a substitute is declined.
Attendance and Punctuality
Late Policy
After 15 minutes a scheduled lesson without notification, will be automatically canceled. In such cases, the student forfeits any opportunity for a make-up lesson or refund.
Membership Termination
Lessons can be terminated with a 30-day written notice to [email protected].
Cancellations between the 1st and 15th of the month incur no additional fees.
Notices given after the 15th will be subject to an $80 membership cancellation fee, automatically charged upon notice of cancellation.
Cancellations must be submitted in written form and will only be accepted via email sent to [email protected].
Health & Safety
Please do not bring in sick students. CMA will send home visibly sick students that risk the health of others with no opportunity for a make up lesson.
Hand sanitizer & masks will be available at the front office.
In the event of a public shutdown lessons will be held on Google Meet. Our 30 day termination notice as well as 48 hour lesson notice will stay in effect.
Liability Waiver and Release Agreement
By engaging in lessons at CMA, I accept all associated risks and release CMA, its staff, instructors, and affiliates from liability for any injury, damage, or loss. I agree to comply with all CMA rules and regulations.
Photo and Video Release
I grant CMA permission to use photos and videos of me for promotional purposes, including online and printed materials. I understand I won’t receive compensation, and I waive the right to approve the content.
Testimonies and Reviews Release
I authorize CMA to use my reviews and comments from all platforms including text for marketing purposes.
Changes to Terms and Conditions
We reserve the right to modify these terms and conditions, including our privacy policy, with or without notice. Any changes will be effective immediately upon posting. Your continued use of our service constitutes acceptance of these modified terms.
