OUR MISSION
To humanize how we learn and find joy in progress.
We are committed to fostering an environment where students and staff alike discover joy in their musical journey while progressing in their skills.
Through personalized instruction, supportive guidance, and a passion for nurturing talent, we aim to cultivate a community where every individual feels empowered to express themselves through music and find fulfillment in their progress.
OUR CORE VALUES
EMPATHY forms the foundation of our interactions, as we strive to understand each student’s unique journey and needs, fostering a supportive and inclusive environment.
PATIENCE guides our approach, recognizing that mastery takes time and dedication, and we’re committed to walking alongside our students every step of the way.
COMMUNITY is at the heart of everything we do, as we believe in the power of connection and collaboration to inspire and uplift.
GROWTH is not just a goal but a constant pursuit, both for our students and ourselves, as we continually seek to learn, improve, and evolve together.
OUR STORY
Founded by Daniel J. Owens, a passionate music educator who embarked on this journey after teaching music in both New York and California. Daniel’s inspiration stemmed from his own experiences, realizing the absence of a place he wished he had access to while growing up.
They say, “If it doesn’t exist, create it.” And that’s precisely what CMA embodies—a vibrant space dedicated to all things music. Here, we prioritize fostering empathy, growth, community, and positivity. Our mission is simple yet profound: to Humanize how we learn and find joy in progress. To help every individual associated with CMA become the best version of themselves. Join us as we embark on this musical adventure together, transforming lives one note at a time.
