The Shed Sessions is an event presented by The Center for Musical Arts.
Lead by Daniel J Owens and Joey Archie, the sessions are a way to learn jazz one tune at a time.
In Jazz, to shed means to do focused practicing to improve oneself. And in that tradition, we will learn tunes by listening to historic recordings, learn lyrics, original keys, learning the tune by ear, learning the scales/chords, playing in all keys, learning famous solos, and more.
