SUMMARY:Shed Sessions
DESCRIPTION:Led by Daniel J Owens and Nate Furgason\, the sessions are a way to learn jazz one tune at a time. \nThis month’s tune: “Tune Up” by Miles Davis \nAt the beginning of every month\, we choose a tune to dissect and learn it top to bottom. We talk about things like theory\, improvisation\, and exercises you can do at home to improve. We meet every Wednesday of the month leading up to the Jam Session on the last Wednesday. \nThe Shed Sessions are a way to meet other musicians\, learn about the history of jazz\, and learn the music. The tunes are a list of frequently called tunes at jam sessions and college auditions.
